Former Rifles goalie Keith Petruzzelli named Hobey Baker Award Finalist

For the second year in a row a former Cathedral player and Springfield Rifle player is a top 10 finalist for the Hobey Baker award.

Goalie Keith Petruzzelli is among the 10 finalists. Keith is coming off an ECAC goalie of the year award. Keith is a senior goaltender at Quinnipiac.

John Leonard, current San Jose Shark forward and former UMass player, was a finalist last year after leading the country in goals.

The 10 finalists for men’s college hockey’s top individual honor, which will be announced April 9, are:

  • Cole Caufield, So., F, Wisconsin
  • David Farrance, Sr., D, Boston University
  • Dylan Holloway, So., F, Wisconsin
  • Spencer Knight, So., G, Boston College
  • Jack LaFontaine, Sr., G, Minnesota
  • Dryden McKay, Jr., G, Minnesota State
  • Keith Petruzzelli, Sr., G, Quinnipiac
  • Shane Pinto, So., F, North Dakota
  • Odeen Tufto, Sr., F, Quinnipiac
